Mondays – Chenrezig & Mahakala Puja

Chenrezig practice is a simple and effective deity meditation practice composed by Thangtong Gyalpo (1385-1464) a very great master in Tibet. Chenrazig or the All-seeing one (or Avalokiteshvara in Sanskrit) is the embodiment of compassion, and Chenrazig practice is done to engender our own compassion.

Mahakala is considered to be an emanation of Avalokiteshvara, the bodhisattva of compassion. It is believed he manifested in this form to provide a more direct protection to practitioners, combining the aspects of compassion with the power to overcome obstacles.
