Sundays – Green Tara/Riwo Sangchod Alternating
Green Tara Practice primarily protects from fear and misfortune, and her practice helps develop wisdom and compassion. Through gradually appreciating, practising, and ultimately embodying Tara’s wisdom and compassion in this practice, we can make a positive difference both in ourselves and to others.
Riwo Sangchod (Smoke Offering) – As in any Dharma practice, “the general point of the Riwo Sangcho practice is to gather the accumulations and purify obscuration as the path to perfecting the genuine benefit of us and others by attaining the level of Buddhahood. In addition, the Riwo Sangcho practice is renowned as a particularly efficacious method for repaying karmic debts we owe that are ripening in our current experience as obstacles, illnesses, malevolent influences, and the like.” by Lama Zopa Jigme.
